CCSF Fall 2016 Applicants

Just wanted to start a thread for those applying in Jan/Feb to CCSF's RN program (Fall 2016 start).

Anyone? This will be my first time applying, but I know it's lottery based so not holding my breath. Good luck to all! :)

Hey guys, i got accepted as conditional enrollement at ccsf fall 2016. I had question regarding teas. So, i took teas in 2014 and my score was below 62%. I took it in 2015 and got above that. I didn't take remediation or anything because the schools i was applying before that didnt ask for remediation. I sent my score of first two attempts. I want to know that do you guys if they will accept my score of second attempt like this? I am really nervous. If any of you guys know about it, please let me know. Thanks.

In the CCSF nursing catalog online it says looks at first attempt score only. I took the teas already because I was applying to SFSU also. I was totally freaked out wanted to make sure I score over 62 the first time, which i did. I called the nursing dept. before I took the teas to see what would happen if my first attempt score was below 62 and was told they would set a remediation plan for you to complete within 1 year based on what you scored low on then have to retake teas and score over 62 to be accepted 1 year after. Kind of a tricky situation since you got over 62 the second time. Best of luck to you.

Did you find our after sending your teas score? I mean did they call you or what? Because i was on conditional enrollment!

They didn't call me, I just showed up I would call to verify you can pick up a packet before you go. I've only taken the Teas once so I don't know what there policy is if you repeat it.

Hello guys. I need a help!! I was good on the ATI study manual tests, but I got 60% on ati practice test.. I only have 9 days to study... I have been studying a month.

I have a few question, How was the schedule like for the first semester? I have little ones and I want to plan ahead if I'm going to need day care afterschool and if so for how long. what were the hour for clinicals? I looked at the fall 2016 schedule but it didn't have the times for clinicals. Also, how were the exams? were they straight from the book? TIA =)

Also, im looking at the class schedule and they offer labs Mondays and Fridays. Do you remember when they have their exams ( fundamentals, pharmacology, and labs)? Just want to see which lab to take. TIA
