CCSF Fall 2016 Applicants

How about CSM? Not too far from the city and they have the same pre-reqs. I'd prefer CCSF too because I have kids. But I guess if I don't get in my third try at CCSF and get in one of the other 5 programs I applied to, then I'll take it.

Just checked CSM actually has 1 extra Psychology class needed to apply, developmental psych, which is worth it to take just to have another chance at getting into a nursing program, they are also going to start a merrit based acceptance rather than a lottery. I rather do clinicals at SF hospitals and not deal with traffic. best wishes getting into one of the programs.

Hey so this is my first time applying to ccsf. I just finished my prereqs at butte college. Other than ccsf I am in the lottery for butte college and on the waitlist for Shasta college. More than anything I want to get into ccsf for the clinical experience. Best of luck everyone!

Remediation is when you have to take extra classes to help you with retaking the teas. Its a year process and after that you have to retake the teas and score above 62%.

Whoa! Butte college is 3 hrs away from here. I'm assuming you'll be moving down the Bay Area if you get accepted to CCSF. Best of luck!

I applied to Butte and I am from the Bay Area. I got an email today saying I didn't get selected :/ I was pretty bummed about it but that's what I already expected since first time applicants only have 2% chance of getting in compare to those who have been applying for a long time.

Congrats Julia, I just found out I'm on the standby list. I'm calling Monday to find out what number. Does anyone know how many people are typically on this list? I can only be hopeful I get in & I've already taken the TEAS . Cross my fingers.
