I figured I'd start this topic now since the information sessions start on the 1st of October.
Currently I'm taking AP1 this fall. The only non nursing courses I still need to take are AP 2, Micro, CIS and Diet. I hope to have them all completed before next Fall so I can focus on the nursing program if accepted.

I was wondering about the AHT, how long does it usually take to complete the test and is it as challenging as others say that have recently posted on the thread. I am terribly nervous and anxious at the same time. Any advice will help. Thanks and I hope to hear from you all soon.
If I remember correctly it was about a couple hours. There is different amount of time for each portion of the test. It is challenging but you just have to stay positive and answer as many questions as you can. The time is the worst part because you literally run out of time. I believe the reading portion is 20 minutes and you have to answer 40 questions.....Language usage skills is 16 sentences and you have 11 minutes.....and the math portion is 18 minutes for 32 questions. Did you go to the workshop for the AHT test? That helped a little and I just googled alot of things to find different websites to practice everything. I would practice how to read and pick apart the passages and time yourself until you have mastered that part because that is very time consuming. Just relax and stay positive!!! Good Luck!!
I am attending the workshop this Friday from 12-2, I have been studying several things they have stated will be on the exam but I am still in an up roar because I don't know exactly what to expect. The timing could be an issue but as you stated if I stay positive and relax I should be okay. Have you heard anything yet as far as acceptance?
Not yet-I applied for the early decision and apparently there is a hold up with the letters. They didn't get them all done before the holiday break so a lot haven't heard yet. The waiting is the hardest part:/
Does anyone have any updates? Did anybody get an acceptance letter for the 2015 program? If so, how long after you took your AHT before you got your letter? And what was your overall score?
Hey guys I went to orientation Wednesday and I am a little confused about the uniform. Is the jacket white or navy? I could have sworn the coordinator said to order a white jacket but the FlynnO'Hara website has us down for a navy jacket. I just want to make sure I am ordering the right stuff. Thanks
I think the jacket is supposed to be navy, I remember her saying that the pants must be the same color as the jacket. You could also look at the uniform sheet that was sent out with all the other information regarding orientation. hope this helps. í ½í¸Š
Thx! I do remember her saying that as well. I think the white jackets we got to try on confused me for a sec. Thanks for mentioning where to find the uniform sheet because I kept looking for it in the folder
Hello everyone! Looks like I will be joining you for Fall 2015. My question is will we really be wearing polo tops instead of scrub tops? Also how do they fit? I was unable to try them on. I was not at the orientation since I was a late admin (move from west coast a month ago). Any information would be helpful. Thanks
