2013 CCP Nursing Program

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to get this started for those who have applied to the program this year and want to get to know other applicants. I was accepted into the CCP nursing program for the 2012 fall semester start date. I attended until 6 weeks before the semester ended. Sadly I had to medically withdraw from the program so in order to continue I had to reapply and start over again. I am hoping to get back in this year. I look forward to talking to other people who have applied and get accepted.

Hi! i just got my acceptance letter in the mail and saw that there is a drug test that you need to take.

I wanted to cut my hair real short for the summer but i dont want to if its going to be a hair test. does anyone know if its hair or urine?

So I applied for ccp's nursing program but didn't get accepted for the fall 2013 program. I got really discouraged until I spoke to an academic advisor. She informed me that I was only off by 1 point to be considered for the program so that kind of motivated me. She also recommended that I still attend the college and just take my prerequisites for nursing and apply again and at first I was excited but now I am getting nervous again : /

If you were only off by one point I would recommend appealing the decision. A lot of people that get accepted decide to go to other schools..like myself. I got in but am going to Gwynedd Mercy instead. Because of that, my slot free's up. Its worth a shot to appeal just to see what happens. Good luck.

Does anyone know when or if the school started the nursing 2015 group yet? They said they would post our booklist on there at orientation.

you have to request to be added to the group. did you search groups under your my ccp email acount?

hey guys, how is everyone doing with the physical exam portion of it? I am really pressing for time to have everything done by july 15th. Good luck everyone !!! hope we all succeed in this awesome journey!!!
