2012 CCP Nursing program

Just wondering if anyone has received their acceptance letters for the fall 2012 program yet and if so how many points did you have?

Hi, I was going to drive there too but when I googled it I got the impression the KOP address is just their offices, not a retail shop. Also when I looked around on their site, I couldn't find anywhere that it said it had an actual store.

Yeah its their office not a store.. i was just commenting on how long everything was taking that being its in KOP I could of driven there and back 10x..lol

FYI they just posted the Nursing 2014 group on MyCCP, the one they asked us to join for updates.

Where are you guys getting the alternate scrub pants from? I remember hating the ones they had from orientation when I tried them on, but if I can get away with not having to go that route I might.

Ughh took the Allied health test and failed so I am doing LPN then my RN online but good luck everyone

You can get them at any uniform shop, they're all over. It's a pretty basic color they should all have it. I would opt for cargo, since polos don't have pockets like how scrub tops do, and we're going to have a lot to carry around. My parents are both in healthcare and they use every pocket.

Good luck! There are many paths to the same goal, and I bet being an LPN will really help you to be a better nurse. You can do it :)

Thank you! I ended up ordering the ones that we're supposed to order along with my shirts and all. I figured I'd wait and see once we started how strict they were about the bottoms being different before getting a different pair or being stuck without.

Have you or anyone else thought about shoes yet?

I bought mine. I got Dansko's they are pretty damn expensive but I bought a pair in black for my old job and they are the most comfortable things ever not to mention I've had them going on 6 years now and they are still in great shape.

These people at Advanced Healthcare are unbelievable. So I sent back my polos because they were not embroidered with the CCP logo, I called them to confirm what I was doing and they sent me a shipping label for them. I just got an email that I was refunded the money for the polo's instead of them fixing them and sending them back. So now I have to call them again tomorrow to ask WTH is going on and get them reordered. I swear to god if they ship them out to me again without the logo I may just lose it. Never in my life have I had so many problems with a stupid online order. These people suck and I will never buy anything from them again after this.

I haven't had any of the problems with Advance that you guys are mentioning, thank goodness. Ordered Friday afternoon, got everything today, including my name tag. Hope everything gets sorted out for those of you having problems with them : (
