CCM EXam, Questions and Tips

:confused: I'm going to be taking the CCM Exam for the first time this Fall, and would like to hear from those who have taken it; i.e. what study materials (if any), did you find useful, and which areas of the test were the hardest? Thanks!:wink2:

me neither......I wonder what in the heck took so long for us to get our results and why they don't at least send an e-mail prompting you to check your dashboard for the result. I think that that's the "least they can do" after you shell out the $300 bucks! :)

Just curious, what type of case management do you do and what state are you in? I'm in telephonic worker's comp and am in Michigan.

I do primarily transplant case management for a third-party administrator in Texas. Previously did pedi home health and labor and delivery. Have been doing this for 2 1/2 years and love it!

AMJBRICK, I too do telephonic work comp, in GA, and am taking the exam 12/5/09. I am scared to death and not sure what I am supposed to study. Help

My name is Angela. I am a registered nurse working in St. Louis MO. I took my CCM exam in December, 2009. Has anyone else taken the exam in December? It is pure torture waiting for those results :eek:

I also took my test in dec 2009. Waiting for the results as well i think they said feb. Ouch.

Dont know why it takes so long. Oh well. We shall find out soon enough. Good luck to you.

I took mine 12/16/09 and was told results by mid Feb. Good luck to all. Mine really did not seem as difficult as I was afraid it would be. Hope that does not mean I major bombed out.

I went on the CCM website and they updated the site you see before you log in. I was hoping that meant our dashboards were updated but they were not. In looking at last years threads they got their results on December 15. So, hopefully we'll be getting them soon.

I've checked my dashboard every few days and it's still the same, course I really do not know what I am looking for, just something different I guess.

From what I've read, your dashboard should say "passed". I was hoping the results would be in by now. At any rate, I pray that everyone passed :)
