Ccc nursing program: Fall 2013 City of Chicago

Hey Guys/Girls,

I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2013 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. Please post if you have any info on when acceptance letter/email will be sent. I think this will be helpful for applicants as far as how the acceptance process is coming along as well as support through the waiting period.

I was just wondering if anyone is planning on taking a pharm class in the summer?

I wasnt planning on it. Is it necessary? I am taking A&P 1 and Micro this summer already. If it is necessay, I will try to fit it in.

Not to put the horse before the carriage, but for those working full time and accepted into Truman, has anyone taken a look at the Fall 2013 schedule of classes? Does anyone have any idea of how to make the 5pm classes work? Other than quitting the job?....Is there a possibility that the hours might still change?

I don't know if the hours will change. However, if you can switch with another nursing student as some of the posters here are suggesting, then you may want to switch to daley. Some of the nursing classes start at 7pm. http://www.ccc.edu/Documents/2013 Schedules/DA_FA2013.pdf

From what Ive been reading, it's optional. I wish we get more information soon. By the way, did you reply to Dr. Gurney or reply to all to confirm your seat?
