Ccc nursing program: Fall 2013 City of Chicago

Hey Guys/Girls,

I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2013 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. Please post if you have any info on when acceptance letter/email will be sent. I think this will be helpful for applicants as far as how the acceptance process is coming along as well as support through the waiting period.

I'm starting to get nervous as well. Around two weeks ago someone called and said that they didn't have my TEAS results, I freaked out!! I had to email them my results so they could put them on file. I guess it's good to know that they've started reviewing apps already!

It's about that time! Does anyone know the projected notification date? I was thinking the 15th?

Hey guys we have less than two weeks until we know if we're accepted or not. I would love if you guys that are accepted would share your teas score, GPA and the location you will be attending!

Im getting nervous as well....I am wondering which campus i will be assigned to because I do not want to go to malcolm x college....not totally accredited

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let some of you know that Malcolm X is accredited (according to the Nursing Program office) they arent sure why its not updated on the accreditation website. Is there any way that we can verify for ourselves other than based on what the school said? I applied to both Truman and Malcolm X, and will be grateful to get into either one, but I dont want to go somewhere that isnt accredited. It will be a waste of time! Thanks!

Maybe you can call the NLNAC to see for sure. I hope CCC would not place students in a school that is not accredited. That would be a waste of time for us and lost of money for them.
