Ccc nursing program: Fall 2013 City of Chicago

Hey Guys/Girls,

I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2013 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. Please post if you have any info on when acceptance letter/email will be sent. I think this will be helpful for applicants as far as how the acceptance process is coming along as well as support through the waiting period.

Hey all did anyone get the uniforms yet? I just got one set today and they were on back order. I have a pair of dark danskos and I was hoping to use those! Where does it say they needed to be white? :nailbiting: I'd like to not have to buy a new pair ): Does anyone know what books to get yet? Thanks![/quote']

I go to Daley. They already sent us a list of books we need to get. The main one is 'fundamentals of nursing' by craven. Idk if that is the same book you all are gonna use though. Did Malcolm X have a day for uniform fitting yet?

MXC gave us a uniform list. I went to the place and ordered a set and lab coat from Cintas on Elston. We Had class registration day on the 1st of July, but I've not had any communication since then. I was hoping to get the book list early so I could order them online and save as much $$ as possible :unsure:

I went to the bookstore and they looked it up for me. The booklist has not been submitted as of yet...

I talked to the clinical director at malcolm x and she said that our shoes do have to be white. Also she was going to talk to the director of our program to see if she knows what is going on with the book list.

Has anyone heard of that the Financial Aid telling students that you are unable to take out student loans if you already have students loans of $15,000 or more?
