Ok so I am taking a big chance hear and gearing up to apply for the RN program for Spring 2017. Its a big chance because I still need Human Anatomy 1 & 2 and microbiology. Im taking two of these classes next fall. My gpa right now is a 3.05 and I am planning on taking my teas at the end of June. Im hoping my extracurricular activities like me doing medical missions trips and my work experience(I work in a hospital) will be looked at when entering. Also I plan on scoring really high on the teas test. Ive been studying my butt off non stop with the teas test book. I know its a slim chance because i haven't finished my sciences yet but I am hopeful. What are everyone else's credentials? scores? gap? if you have them!
Now wait start. I'm so damn nervous now. Fingers cross! But I'm surprised that not so many people are posting about applying to Ccbc spring semester this time
I was thinking the same thing. I figured it would be a lot of people applying. Mrs. Jones told me that in Spring 2015 or 16 that only 250-300 people had applied including both locations. So it was like a 50% chance. She was saying that less people apply in the spring. Hopefully that is still true for this semester. I got my email today saying my app was complete, but that we would hear something before late October.

By any chance, do you know approximately how many seats are given each spring?
I wish we can ask them how many applicants they have this time. I'm just going crazy over this wait. I have been reading all previous thread and also getting scare by reading how some people said they applied with 3.1 gpa and were on waiting list. Hate this waittttt!
Right! It is gonna so hard to just wait. I wonder if they would tell us if we called?
Hey, I was just accepted for this fall 2016. I got a 75% on the teas. 81 in reading, 86 in grammar. 66 in math and 69 in science. My Science Gpa was a 2.95 and overall a 3.45. My only C in my prereqs was in A&p 2. I didn't have any extracurricular but i did accumulate over 60 credits so I think that helped. I took courses like nutrition, ethics, health etc to help boost my gpa while I was waiting to apply and Made all A's.
Nice! How does your uniform look like? And do you know if the uniforms are similar for Essex and Catonsville campuses?
Hi everyone!! I've been following these threads for quite some time and finally decided to create an account. I applied to the CCBC Essex Day program. Overall I got a Proficient on TEAS, 76.2% on the Reading. Overall GPA is 3.34 and Science GPA is 3.77 or something like that. I got an A in both A&P II and Micro and a B in A&P I. I'm freaking out over here. I know it doesn't help but I've been checking Simon daily, checking my email, and also checking to see if status changes on application.... However, I was following another thread and one of the applicants said that she called yesterday 10/6 and they told her that our status in Simon won't update and that they haven't made any decisions yet..... Which means, more stressing for us. I'm hoping you all can help me keep it together until we start getting these emails.
