CCBC Spring 2017

Published

Ok so I am taking a big chance hear and gearing up to apply for the RN program for Spring 2017. Its a big chance because I still need Human Anatomy 1 & 2 and microbiology. Im taking two of these classes next fall. My gpa right now is a 3.05 and I am planning on taking my teas at the end of June. Im hoping my extracurricular activities like me doing medical missions trips and my work experience(I work in a hospital) will be looked at when entering. Also I plan on scoring really high on the teas test. Ive been studying my butt off non stop with the teas test book. I know its a slim chance because i haven't finished my sciences yet but I am hopeful. What are everyone else's credentials? scores? gap? if you have them!

Hi everyone!! I've been following these threads for quite some time and finally decided to create an account. I applied to the CCBC Essex Day program. Overall I got a Proficient on TEAS, 76.2% on the Reading. Overall GPA is 3.34 and Science GPA is 3.77 or something like that. I got an A in both A&P II and Micro and a B in A&P I. I'm freaking out over here. I know it doesn't help but I've been checking Simon daily, checking my email, and also checking to see if status changes on application.... However, I was following another thread and one of the applicants said that she called yesterday 10/6 and they told her that our status in Simon won't update and that they haven't made any decisions yet..... Which means, more stressing for us. I'm hoping you all can help me keep it together until we start getting these emails.

Check your account. We have seat fees

YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the most excited I've ever been to pay someone $200 out of pocket. My heart was pounding out of my chest when I logged into my Simon account. @aleone032188 I take it that you got a seat fee? Where are you going?

Congrats you all! I am a few days away from hitting the halfway mark of the first semester. We start clinicals next week! My how time flies!!

How is the program? Which campus are you on?

I am in the Essex day program. Definitely doable. I love it. All of the instructors are awesome and the lab instructors are even better. There is open lab every single day. You really do have to ajust to the style of testing. The information right now it not very difficult but the amount can be very overwhelming. The various dates and assignments can creep up on you if you are not on top of it. Also that 75% test average can really haunt you. We have one class where you only have 2 tests. So you can only imagine how stressful that is lol. I'll be happy to answer any more questions :)

According to the email that I got this morning, those who applied for the ATB program won't find out until the week of the 17th.
