Hello, I am starting a topic for the cohort at Community College of Baltimore County who will be applying for the Spring 2020 semester. I know that applications will be due soon at the end of this month, so please share your nerves, questions, ect. Good luck everyone!
Hey Everyone,
I am buckling down to all the necessary requirements to bring in January 13th. Any suggestions where to get my immunizations, physical, and titers all in one place? My PCP appointment is January 2nd but results are not immediate and he doesn't do some of the immunizations. I was thinking Patient First, but not sure they do everything. I called my sister in law, Concentra does it all but doesn't take insurance. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
Did your PCP say which Immunizations he doesn’t do? I got mines completed with my PCP through MedStar and they just draw labs to see if I’m immune first. So it may be easier to have your PCP fill out a certain portion and go somewhere like Patient First or Prompt care to get the rest. Either way it’s basic immunizations your insurance should cover and have readily available to you.
Hi all,
So far I have paid for the kit.
Did my CPR certification.
Purchased books.
And my appointment is 1/2 for my physical and immunizations.
I purchased my name tag.
Purchased shoes.
I still need to do the drug test, dosage class. and pay for the docu code.
I am currently in route to do my uniform order.
I attached the books I have so far.
I believe I am missing 2-4 books.
Hope to see you all soon!

They have some info about Examsoft in the Student Nurse Connection on Blackboard. Examsoft is made by the company Examplify... that confused me a ton because people kept referring to it by two different names, but its just one program. I'm sure they'll give us more info about it later also.
If you haven't enrolled in the Student Nurse Connection on Blackboard, here is how:
Once you're enrolled in the Student Nurse Connection, you can click on it and scroll towards the bottom of the main page. You should see a link called "ExamSoft Mandatory Module" that has all the info you need. This is probably jumping ahead though ? I am sure we will get more official details at the other orientation! There is a ton of good info in there if you like to read ahead.
By the way... did anyone else in Essex day get registered for classes yet in Simon? I have not yet.
@Ughnamesarehard I was able to get into the www.meaok.com website and order my supplies Dec 20th. I'm not sure if it makes a difference that I am at Catonsville
@NurseCO you are well on your way! I am waiting on the books to arrive. I think I have about two more.
Were you able to log in on Examplify/Examsoft, I downloaded Examplify but I am trying to log in so I can pay it is $26 per semester to use. @Elaine89

I saw something in the Essex Dosage course announcement section that said Examplify will reset for the next semester sometime on or after Dec. 31st. Maybe it will work after that day to sign up hopefully.
