Published

Hello, I am starting a topic for the cohort at Community College of Baltimore County who will be applying for the Spring 2020 semester. I know that applications will be due soon at the end of this month, so please share your nerves, questions, ect. Good luck everyone!

Couldn't comment on that same thread so i had to start a new reply. I applied for catonsville so im assuming catonsville is where i got the seat at.

I attached the books I have so far, if anyone has already purchased the bundles can they let me know what books i am missing so that i can grab those.

Thanks in advance,

Has anyone in the Essex Day program been registered yet?

Yes, my classes are registered for

anyone registered for catonsville?

nvm i see my that my classes are registered. Did they say that our lab for 153 would be tuesday and thursday? or just one of those days?

They said one or the other for the first couple of weeks, then it will be both days, but I have both days registered on my schedule. Sooooo idk if that’s a mistake on my schedule or they changed their minds.

Hey guys- has anyone gone for the TB test? Is it just something you ask for/ is there an order form or something you’re suppose to supply the place with (bc I didn’t see one on castlebranch)?

Take your paper they gave you for your physician to fill out and they will order and do what they need to from the paper. The pcp does the test (at least mine did). They did my PPD the same day and got read 2 days later.

@NurseCO Good morning,

Since you got accepted into both, did you pay your seat fee for CCBC by Nov 20th? If so, I have some information from the Catonsville program. Make sure you make orientation January 24th also, you would need to go up to the school to get the packet to get started with all the requirements to start.

Uniforms and Name badge need to be ordered by Dec 27th cost approx $146

Nursing Kit order by Dec 27th cost $122

All white nursing Shoes

Black stethoscope, scissors, clamp, pen light

Modules open January 2nd

Immunizations, background check, physical, and drug test need to be done prior to January 13th and paperwork uploaded into Castlebranch. Physical paperwork needs to be turned in January 13th at Catonsville Health and Technology department. No later!

If you do not come to the January 24 orientation you run the risk of forfeiting your seat. If you did not pay the seat fee $200 before November 20, you already forfeited your seat. I think I covered everything

@_Mrs.Barker Good morning, I took my seat at CCBC. I paid my seat fee last week. I plan on ordering the kit this upcoming friday and before I can purchase my uniform I need to try them on, Flynn is closed for the holiday so I probably will go this Friday or Thursday to try them on. They work on a funny schedule and eh didn't know you had to get a black stethoscope thought we could get any color. I plan on going to the doctors on 1/2 to get all my test and stuff done. Thanks for the information have you already gotten your books and stuff?

@NurseCO First Congratulations sis! You made it! I purchased the fundamentals of nursing book. I'm buying as the funds become available. I am uploading a list of the books with the ISBNs because the ones you posted, I didn't have on my list. Are you in the day and blended program? I am in the blended program at Catonsville.
