CCBC Spring 2020 Cohort

Hello, I am starting a topic for the cohort at Community College of Baltimore County who will be applying for the Spring 2020 semester. I know that applications will be due soon at the end of this month, so please share your nerves, questions, ect. Good luck everyone!

I thought financial aid becomes available in January like every else’s?

For 2019 - 2020 or 2020 - 2021?

Soon as I register book credit is made available. The financial aid will show up later on Simon. Financial aid is always a year behind. So 2019/2020 aid year takes you into July I believe. Then 2020/2021 starts and so on. Book credits are calculated by the financial aid office based on the amount of classes you take. Also, scholarships everyone please look into it. Alot of grant programs deadlines are 01/03/2020

Yeah I have grants from Ccbc, but I though book credit became available when it’s close to the school start date. This is valuable info as I would like to purchase my books as well. Thank you

Has anyone been registered yet? I haven't.

That's why I am waiting. My final grades was just updated on Simon from Fall semester was just uploaded last night at 9pm. Maybe the school is behind. Has anyone reached out to our support to find out when we should expect to be registered??? That way we can use book credit and pay the difference (in my case) before 12/27/2019.

I am going to lunch. But I will be back

I am not registered yet either. My book credit is also not available. You get one for each semester right?

Yes you get book credit for each semester. I just emailed Dr. Webster to see when she expect us to be registered in Simon for the students that are working with financial aid and tuition reimbursement.

Sorry ive been MIA been working on some things.

I got accepted into CCBC and BCCC, have only been to BCCC orientation so far. Can someone give me some insight on CCBC orientation the cost, uniforms, books, ETC. Thanks in advance.
