CCBC Nursing Fall 2015

Published

Hi all!! Just wondering if anyone else applied to the upcoming fall semester to CCBC? I want to get a feel of all the competition that I am up against.... LOL!

@hotpinkam the seat fee is due by May 15! Are they letting you wait? I still am waiting to hear but CCBC is higher because of the ATB.

Got my letter. Orientation May 26 for Essex Day :)

Hey everyone, I'm Marie. I've been following along on this post for a couple weeks but this is my first post... Just got my acceptance letter for Essex day and I am really looking forward to meeting you all and working our butts off through this crazy thing called nursing school. 😁 my emotions are so mixed right now! See you all on the 26th.

I am in Essex day as well!

I was waitlisted...if you or anyone you know plans on turning down a seat could you pls notify SHP as soon as possible. Thank you. Waiting these last couple months to hear back was excruciating for all of us!! Unfortunately the wait is not over for all of us who were waitlisted and the faster wr hear something back the faster we can put our mind at ease and join our fellow future nurses.

I doubt it, I'm just going to pay the seat fee and see what happens lol

I literally just asked the shp office if you have a seat fee, does that mean you are accepted in the program, and they said yes! Have faith. Stop doubting it. Lol

Anybody applying to any of the ATB programs? I'm applying to Towson and Stevenson.

I want to apply to the ATB programs, I however don't have Chemistry done :(

I need both Chemistry and Nutrition. í ½í¸“ I wish I would have known last year. I would have made sure I got both of those classes done.

I just applied to Frostburg (my first choice) and Stevenson today.

You guys can still sign up for summer classes! but hurry!! The universities are super flexible this semester since its the first time around, and they are practically BEGGING students to apply. So I have no doubt that if you contacted the schools you guys could work something out. I know Stevenson is the most flexible, they told me some of the ATB prereqs did not even have to be completed before the start of the program.

I'm not a huge fan of online classes but Frostburg is an awesome opportunity for those who are. You all can take classes over the summer. Wouldn't hurt to apply anyway and then try to get the pre reqs done... I'm taking stat over the summer and am finishing chem and nutrition this semester. My chem teacher is doing a summer class if anyone is interested I can give his info.
