Hi all!! Just wondering if anyone else applied to the upcoming fall semester to CCBC? I want to get a feel of all the competition that I am up against.... LOL!
I am applying to towson and frostburg. Towson is my first choice but they are so competitive :/ I went to frostburg website and applied as a transfer student, you pay the $30 application fee and have your transcripts sent and you're good to go.They also tell you if you got in through email so you don't have to wait for mail which is awesome!
Sidi240- Go to Frostburgs website and apply as a transfer student to the RN-BSN program, Fill out the application, and at the end when it ask for your application fee check the box for "mail in check or money order". You also need to send your official transcripts to Frostburg's Admissions office ($10 fee). Transcripts and applications need to be received by Frostburg by May 15, so personally I would try to get it done ASAP. You need to email either Heather Gable (Frostburg's nursing department chair)at [email protected] or Roxanne Weighley (Frostburg's Program manager) at [email protected] Tell them that you just applied and you just wanted them to look out for your application. The time frame for this is terrible... this whole process has just been so unorganized and a disaster.
I will also be in the Catonsville Program. The Orientation is June 1 from 9am to 4pm
I'm about to finish my first semester at Ccbc Essex. It definitely gets crazy and id suggest to work as little as possible. The people who had busy lives struggled more than ones that had more available time to dedicate to school. You have class mon tues and Wednesday and then lab Thursday or Friday and then at week 9 you'll start clinical on Thursday and Friday. You'll be in long term care for 4 days and acute care which is in the hospital for 6 days. It goes by fast. Also as cliche as it is nursing exams are different than general education classes. It's application based. And to be successful in fundamentals. Study the power points and take good notes. Good luck guys!

Hey all,
Just a couple of questions that I thought of yesterday:
Who can I speak to about getting Financial Aid for the RN program?
What is the repeat course policy?
