CCBC - N/W Fall 2012 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I am applying to the CCBC Essex nights and weekends program for the fall of 2012. I am hearing all the stories about those either getting in or rejected for the Spring day program. Wanted to maybe start a thread for those whole applying with me and maybe relate to my anxiety! LOL

i didnt get in :(....CONGRATS to those who did. WIsh I could be celebrating with ya~

I didn't get in for the 2nd year.. Oh well guess it was not meant to be ... I will not apply to CCBC for a 3rd time because I hate the way they make you wait. I wish I didn't refuse seat at HCC but too late now... Good Luck to everyone who was accepted!

I watched the mailman coming!!!! I saw my envelope in his hand when he was about 5 houses away... and then he stopped to play with the dog next door for like 5 minutes... I was staring at the envelope the whole time!!!!

I too have been following this thread but never posted....until now!! ;)I found out about this site last year when taking A&P in the summer. I applied for the Evening/Weekend Program on the very last day although I had started the application in July of 2011. I am proud to say that I have been accepted. I currently work as a tech in the Baltimore Veterans Medical Center, Emergency Department downtown and happened to be in triage today. :uhoh3:I looked at this thread and decided to call home and get someone to check the mail, not telling them what I was looking for other than something from CCBC. :confused::eek::idea::confused:When they said yes and I asked was it a little envelope, they replied "NO, a big brown envelope!!" :crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:I almost fainted right there!!! I got light headed, dizzy and had to get my co-worker/homegirl/ride or die chick to hold me up!!! I was crying, then I called my mother to which she replied, "As hard as you try to act I know you not crying!" I busted out laughing and now I have a headache from crying!!! Congrats to all that get accepted and to all that don't there is always light at the end of the tunnel!!! Of note, I did not tell but 5 people (My mother, my father, my boyfriend, and my 2 co-workers/ nurses/ support system) I applied because I was not sure I would even be accepted the first time around.:p:p:nurse::nurse:

Congrats! This should mean I have something in my mailbox - hopefully a big envelope this time! I live near the Dundalk campus so if you got your letter, I hope I get mine! :-)

Thank you but I am in a good place. I have not even cried. I'm sure that something good is coming my way, it seems like everything is happening wrong right now...about a month after I turned down my seat at HCC, I found out u was being laid off my job effective July 1, now a month from that rejected a 2nd time at CCBC... It's gotta get better
