  1. Thank you for the replies :) GrnTea - If my school had binders full of nursing journals in the library I wouldn't have a problem finding journals. LOL! And apparently the database for our schools library doesn't allow access to full articles. I just thought I would ask if anyone knew of any good websites to find articles as I have already explored what is made available at my schools library and even the local public library.
  2. Hi, I would greatly appreciate any advice on where to find nursing articles. We need to use articles that are no more than 5 years old and are evidence based written by a nurse. My school does have a database that we can search but it does not allow us access to a full article most of the time, and most of what I find are written by doctors not nurses. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find these articles. Any help is much appreciated :)
  3. Hey - I'm sure this is a really dumb question but does anyone know what the ATI testing fee is for??
  4. Hey Dana - It's this Thursday Thanks for the info about Membrebe...that makes me feel a little better - I also saw that a lot of them didn't score too high on ratemyprofessor. When you see stuff like that it isn't too reassuring... just trying to go into it with an open mind.
  5. Yes, mine says the 7'th as well. I guess the e/w and day programs have orientations on different days.
  6. The next 2 years are going to be NUTS! I wonder if we get Winter and Summer semesters off???
  7. oops! That's if you are the same Tiffany! :bugeyes:See you at orientation anyways
  8. Hi, Is this the Tiffany from Herrera's class? This is Lauri - we spoke the last day of class because we over heard each other say we were in the Essex E/W program. Seeya at orientation!
  9. blakbuttrfly .. I'm right there with you. I also have been working towards this for what seems like forever, have 2 small kids, and will also be attending Essex E/W with you. I could kick myself for not doing all of this years ago!!! It could have been sooo much easier doing this before having a family! Hind site is 20/20. I'm sure it's safe to say that we have all worked too hard to get to this point to screw up now. I'm with rngraduate2014 ... failure is not an option.
  10. I hear that! I'm really looking forward taking the summer OFF anyway
  11. WHOA I just looked - Stevenson is EXPENSIVE
  12. I would LOVE to get my BSN BUT.. I did not know about the Towson bridge from CCBC until people on here started talking about it a few days ago. If the extra classes HAVE to be done by the end of this summer...which I am not even totally clear about... that is just impossible. :icon_roll On another thread I saw something about University of Maryland having a RN-BSN progam online. That looks waaaayy more convenient. Except when I went to their website I couldn't find any info on it. So I emailed them asking about an RN-BSN online..and if they really have it.
  13. So if you want to bridge to Towson you have to have the extra classes done by the end of THIS summer????
  14. Mine wasn't earlier today but it is now.
