CCBC application submitted. Anyone else playing the waiting game?

Published

I submitted my application for Essex Day program- Spring 2014. I am pretty hopeful but nervous. I put all my eggs in the ccbc basket and didn't apply anywhere else. It is so convenient and so much cheaper than other places I really want to go there. But now I am thinking maybe I should have diversified a little.

It seems like a long road just to get to this point but it really is just the beginning.

@sparky605:I worked really hard for an awesome A in both APII and Micro which raised my GPA to 3.69. I did retake my TEAS, but only scored a small percentage from 75% to 78%.. lol

How is your appilcation?

My application is "Complete, Ready for review"

My Teas score was really good- it was 99th percentile in all areas - I think that was a score of like 94%

My GPA in the 5 core subjects it is 3.6. (I think my total GPA is 3.8 but I hear they are not as concerned with that GPA)

I would have a 4.0 if not for a C in Composition/English that I took 20 years ago. A counselor told me that I should retake it before applying to increase my chances. I really don't have the time or money for an extra class so I took a chance on applying as is.

CONGRATS Ella, on the great grades in AP and Micro! I think admissions really likes to see high grades in the sciences :)

@Sparky: Oh gosh! You pretty much is accepted for me already lol You have a higher chance of getting in than I do. Good luck to both of us. and Thank you! haha hopefully I could get in this time, *crossing my fingers*.

I'm also waiting. It's driving me crazy!

My application status is the same. I hate waiting and not knowing when well get any news. :(

Letters are coming in the next few days!!! Just got word I was accepted into the Catonsville campus' program!!!! Anyone else?

CONGRATS!!!!! How did you hear? Was it the $200 on your account?

My application now says "decision made" instead of "complete ready for review" But it does not say what the decision is. This is excruciating!

I assume it is on your "my bill" section or student account- Mine says balance $0. :(

I also have a $0 balance. I'm really hoping they just haven't posted the fees yet. Guess I'm not sleeping tonight
