Just curious if any who have applied have heard if they've been accepted to CCAC Nursing program for Spring 2010 admittance?

Also, does anyone out there know what the likelihood is of getting your fist choice?

Congratulations to you too! Too bad your paper wasn't for psychology, you could have written it about all of us and how the stress of waiting for a letter affects different people and what happens when they finally get it!!! LOL

Got a strange question Ran into my AP classmate. She got eve at allegheny but since she's got kids needs day. Can you switch? Anyone know if this is even an option? She's happy and scared all at the same time, I feel for her. Thanks

I would probably have to say she would have to see if someone in day would want to switch with her. I really don't know how she would go about finding someone who was willing to do that. Tell her that I am happy and feel for her too. It is tough doing evening with kids with just regular classes let alone doing nursing evening. You said that you have gotten to know some of the nursing staff, maybe you can find the answer out for her. I will ask around at my campus but since I am not at allegheny I don't know if I will get the right answer. Tell her good luck from me......................

Hello again everyone! Christenmarie & I were just talking, for everyone going to calu if you have non nursing courses left to do, I was under the impression that you could take them at south campus but after looking at calu's & ccac's web sites I am not sure, you may have to take the non nursing courses at calu. If anyone knows for sure please post it, otherwise I attend south campus now and I will find out on monday & post what they tell me........Betty:nuke:

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I started a new thread under STUDENTS "General nursing student discussions" for CALU. The thread is titled ccac/calu spring 2010 I thought that it would be a good way for all of the calu students to get aquainted and share information!............Betty

I sure will.. I will be asking on tuesday, I heard from someone else currently in the 2nd year it is possible, but they frown upon it and you need to have compelling reasons. I feel for her too, day is easier when kids are in school most of the day.

Regardless, one hurdle at a time, now the fun begins with getting everything ready by January!
