Caught son eating his stool

I am very concerned. my son knocked our trash can over and ate a small amount of what was in his diaper. It scarred the living crap out of me. I made him drink 2 glasses of water and milk. He does not seem effected at all by what he ate. Just want to know if I should make appointment for the doctor or send him to the emergency room. I will wait for your response.

Maybe ask poison control? or have his ped paged? Lots of nasty stuff in there.....

Read this article on pica, and try not to worry too much unless it becomes a persitant problem. I just found out my 4 year old that has been potty trained forever.... just pooped in her brothers candy bucket, when asked why she did it she said "there was no candy in it" like that explains everything......Kids are weird, and pretty gross. :uhoh3:
