I just took the entrance exam for the RN program at Carrington College Reno. Has anyone been accepted in the program and do you remember what your scores were? I did above average but I'm worried that they weren't good enough. Since I will be moving to Reno from California to attend the school, I'm getting anxious and I'm wondering if I should try to take the exam again before the cutoff for the January class.
Does Carrington encourage nursing students to continue on to recieve a Bachelors degree? If so, do you know what schools Carrington credits will transfer to?
They do. Actually, they partner with chamberlain and you can transfer directly into their bridge program. It is three semesters if done full time and it is online. There are other, cheaper places that accept Carrington credits as well, but there may be courses you have to take prior to applying to their bridge. I also believe (not positive) that you can go through UNR's bridge, but it may require some prereqs as well.
Yes I am. I head back home tomorrow after orientation. But we have a lot to do in the next few weeks! Going to be living with my Aunt for a while until I can get the entire family moved over. Crazy busy but so excited!! And my scanner won't work, so I wasn't able to get that book list over to you. Sorry. :-(
I'm glad everything worked out for you! seems like the program is a little more intense since they cut it down to five semesters, but I'm excited. I am glad I finally have a schedule to give my boss at work though! oh and I wasn't sure if you would be at orientation today so I didn't catch where you were sitting lol
I was the table off to the side closer to the beds. I think I seen you, I was listening for your name! I'm so excited too! But the stress of moving my family in such a short time frame is killing me! We're trying to find a house super cheap since we don't know where my husband will be working once he finds a Reno job. He's going to commute to Sac for now, but I hate my family not being together. The first month is going to be rough!
