Carrington College Reno

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I just took the entrance exam for the RN program at Carrington College Reno. Has anyone been accepted in the program and do you remember what your scores were? I did above average but I'm worried that they weren't good enough. Since I will be moving to Reno from California to attend the school, I'm getting anxious and I'm wondering if I should try to take the exam again before the cutoff for the January class.

Does Carrington encourage students to continue on to recieve a Bachelors degree in nursing? If so, do you know to what schools Harrington credits transfer into?

I am. :) It's rough at times, but I like it very much.

You can roll right into a BA program through Chamberlain College with a 15% discount on tuitition. It's all online and it's a 12 month program.

They do. Actually, they partner with chamberlain and you can transfer directly into their bridge program. It is three semesters if done full time and it is online. There are other, cheaper places that accept Carrington credits as well, but there may be courses you have to take prior to applying to their bridge. I also believe (not positive) that you can go through UNR's bridge, but it may require some prereqs as well.

Okay I will look into the BSA options! Oh have you been able to send me that list of books? :)

I'm in! I got the call today that another student dropped and I officially have a spot!!

Hey! I was wondering about you lol Congratulations! are you in Reno?

Yes I am. I head back home tomorrow after orientation. But we have a lot to do in the next few weeks! Going to be living with my Aunt for a while until I can get the entire family moved over. Crazy busy but so excited!! And my scanner won't work, so I wasn't able to get that book list over to you. Sorry. :-(

I'm glad everything worked out for you! seems like the program is a little more intense since they cut it down to five semesters, but I'm excited. I am glad I finally have a schedule to give my boss at work though! oh and I wasn't sure if you would be at orientation today so I didn't catch where you were sitting lol

I was the table off to the side closer to the beds. I think I seen you, I was listening for your name! I'm so excited too! But the stress of moving my family in such a short time frame is killing me! We're trying to find a house super cheap since we don't know where my husband will be working once he finds a Reno job. He's going to commute to Sac for now, but I hate my family not being together. The first month is going to be rough!

I was at the corner table next to the beds with the dummy in them. Did you get your school badge? Yeah school will be starting so soon I'm getting a little stressed getting my things situated I can't imagine all you have to do!

I took the picture for the badge but haven't gotten it yet. I'm still waiting on my class schedule and books.
