I was just curious if anyone applied to CCHS for Fall 2009?! I am anxiously waiting for a letter in the mail, and was wondering if any other applicants have received a letter of acceptance or denial yet!! I'm crossing my fingers I will get in, I had HORRIBLE high school grades but am finishing up my Medical Assisting degree and have straight A's in all of those courses. Hopefully they will take that into consideration!
Also I would love to hear from anyone who attended CCHS - how competitive was it to get in, do they have a waiting list, what GPA you had when you applied. Also i'm very curious about how difficult the school is! Any information is greatly appreciated!!!!
update: I just called and talked to someone about a transcript, and they also told me that they were meeting march 16h and mailing the letters on the 18th so we will know hopefully by the end of next week!!!
update- I just called the school and they told me something completely different this time. They said decisions will be made and letters will go out next week- This is such a pain but I don't know who is right!! I guess we just have to wait it out
Hi! I've applied for pre nursing for Fall 09 at CCHS. I haven't got a letter yet either. Where are you all taking the CNA class? I haven't done that yet.
I took my CNA course last summer at presbyterian school of nursing. i loved the instructer she was really great . it was a six week long class 8-3pm mon through thurs. I had no problem passing the state exam, so i would high suggest that program.
I am currently taking my CNA class at Divine Academy and I do not recommend it!! Stay far away from that place! I think Carolinas College of Health Sciences has one as well.
CCHS probably hates me BUT, I called again to see when the letters were being mailed out. if we weren't going to get them by "mid march" they should say that on the website because now its "late march" almost april. AND I think the lady that answers the phone is a little bit rude. anyway, I called on monday and she said they were mailing them this week so erby I just wanted to let you know! I still haven't gotten anything yet... but please keep me posted!
I totally agree....they should just say end of march and then if we were to get them mid march then they would avoid people calling them and such. I don't like that front desk lady because has told me a wrong deadline date before. Anyways, I have thought that if I don't get mine today I may stop by Thursday. This is one of my worst traits but I am so impatient!!
Okay I didn't get a letter so I called. This nice lady told me if I didn't get it tomorrow then to call her (Ann) and she would "figure something out" on how to tell me. She said lots of people got them today though because their phone was ringing off the hook.
