How many months should I wait to receive my eligibilty from CARNA? I just complied all my requirements this month( August). To those who are CARNA registered already please answer and give me some additional information based in your own experience during the time your application still in progress! I really appreciate all your comments regarding this matter... Thanks in advance to all my fellow FIL-NURSES....

For me it took like 1 month or more...everything moves so slow here in Canada

Moved to the International forum as asking about foreign nurses registration with CARNA plus the thread you posted on was a couple years old.

1 month isn't that bad when for other countries you are looking at 4 months upwards

1 month - are you joking????? Oh unless you're already a Canadian nurse - this post is from a foreign educated nurse.

It took me & most other people I know on here 6 months to get eligibility through.

I don't find Canada slow at all compared to the USA, for instance!!

I have everything in place now & will land on 24th August - decided to take a much needed holiday 1st. The whole process from start to finish was 8 months - I think that's darn good!! Please note that for some countries it will take longer (maybe up to 12 months)- check the website of your Embassy for details.

I couldn't tell you -the fees are in $CA & are all listed on the website. My employer has a $6000 relocation allowance & we're pretty ,much going to spend about that if you take into account shipping fees etc.
