Career Advice Please! New Grad Boston RN

I graduated in May 2019 and passed my boards in Jan 2020. COVID happened and the only job that called me back was a health center. I've been there since July. I want to work in a hospital, but nobody is calling me back! I graduated with my BSN from an ABSN program in Boston. Is working at a health center career suicide? How do I get on track for a med-surg role in a hospital? Any advice is welcome!

What are your duties in the health center?   Are you enjoying the job?  What is attracting you to med-surg? See the many threads here on AN  from nurses desperate to get out. Leaving a job after three months, is career suicide.

If you haven't already, I would consider applying to any available residency programs. Maybe even apply to places a little further away from your area but with a still reasonable commute. It could be that there's a lot of people to choose from in your area.
