Anyone know is CHC in FL is legit? Anyone graduate from there? I can't find a lot of info on it.
futuregirlrn said:Have to come and chime in! What the above commenter said is 100% true. My friend went here and is unable to take her boards because Texas is not accepting this school. She applied to New York boards to try to take the boards there and New York is not letting her either.
THIS school does not have programmatic accreditation. Any "National accreditation" is just to allow students to take out out loans. (WHICH you will have to pay back when they go out of business..).They are on probation ...I give them another year....and belly UP. Yep you read it here.
Look at this site and look at these statistics (scroll down) on NCLEX pass rates which they are boasting about .....

Truth123 said:You said they were put on probation which I know with their current standards they would be off. I can name lists of Big schools who were put on probation and later came off-
List those please!
Truth123 said:Why, because people (students) who were not successful on their NCLEX on the first try and now the school changed certain things and is now having higher passing rates and because they did, all of a sudden they are a scam. Things to better help students read more. Please do your due diligence and I know with their current pass rates they would be taken off.

These pass rates are NOT getting them off probation.

Look on the bottom for their current pass rate. For someone who did not attend the school you sure have alot to say.
Please scroll down and check for care hope college their accreditation is right there. Why are you so negative and not helpful. So quick to pull the school down you keep putting wrong information and wrong links because you are not a student. How unfortunate.

You betcha. I have taught for RN programs for 40 plus years. I have written on All Nurses concerning Florida programs since I started following Florida schools. I know the ins and outs of programmatic accreditation, NCLEX, RN education and I know the slippery standards of Florida. The FBON has lost all control of the quality of their programs and now all 50 states know it.
If you work there -- Save yourself, you don't want them on your resume.
If you attend there --- Save yourself, the closure of DOOM is coming. Numbers (NCLEX pass rates) never lie. And (I do not if this standard still stands but the NCLEX pass rates were only for those taking the licensure within 3 months of graduating). That was why many Florida schools stalled graduates with passing an exit exam.
Its you who is a joke. Did you call the front desk, or leave them a message or even the students office or any email. Where are your proofs???
If you as a student is having issues individually you can reach out to the right person. Do not generalize and spoil things for people who have had good experiences with the school.
Finally, this school would be around for a long time. Plus you all are not talking about how some very big schools admit a lot of students only to remove them in Junior year, cause them alot of pain. Use TEAS test to disqualify you, how they are extremely racist and treat students unjustly. How students go through burn out and are exhausted and are made to repeat one year and thrown out if they fail two courses. Like I said nursing school is not for the weak.

It is even legal for an entity to threaten students with DISMISSAL when they raised a genuine concern? Again evidence for the courts which the author cannot deny.. I thought this only happens in 3rd world countries.
