Hello! I am interested in the MSN Nurse Educator program at Capella University. I have questions regarding the clinical practicum. Did you find your own practicum site and preceptor? What kind of assistance did the program give you in setting it up? Did you stay at one site for the 100 hours? Thank you for any insight in to this portion of the program!

I have finished the program, however I chose the traditional 10 week classes so I don't know much about the flexpath. I thought the program was great! Most of the instructors want you to succeed and will respond to any questions you have within 24 hours. The classes consist of discussion posts, papers and powerpoint projects. Good luck!

Could explain a little more about the practicum component? It was explained to me that it isn't 100 hours of one on one time. I'm trying to figure out how much time I'd have to be away from work etc. any info would be great!
