Wondering if I should give a two weeks notice being PRN, but here's the kicker,
I have worked a month at this facility with no pre-employment paper work getting done, no information filled out to get paid, no drug test, etc etc....so it's like I am not even employed. During my interview I was told that Id be working the same hours as the nurse that is out on leave for 6 months but 2 weeks later my hours were cut from 40+ to a "we will call you when we need you." I have been called in once to work and it wasn't even for the same provider that hired me. I agreed to work and it's been over a week since then and no one has called to get the ball rolling on pay, paper work or anything. When I call HR to ask it's always, "We will get it done as soon as next week, we're just waiting on your time card." Well next week has turned into a month and still nothing after yet another call today. I was always told that my performance there was great and that I was a fast learner, so Im sure thats not the issue. I just can't continue to work for procrastinators that could care less about me working without being compensated in a timely manner, and one that does not stand true to their word in knowing that I had another PRN position that I could have taken but refused it because they gave the better deal. Not sure what to do or how to approach the subject with them. Any suggestions?
