I went and bought next semester's books and I even have three of the classes syllabi. Not only that, but in addition to my nursing classes, I have one last Gen Ed class to take and I have already chosen the book I have to read and to write a paper on and I plan to have it read and the paper written before classes start.
I've been reading up on child health nursing all day and that's when I'm not reading my anthrpology book!
What's wrong with me? It's like I can't stop studying for even one minute.
Maybe I shouldn't have bought the books, because before today I actually took a break and watched some movies.
I think I'm just the kind of person that only needs a short break form studying and then I can start right back up again. I think I actually like school! :trout:
I am almost the same way, except this week I did not read, instead I have been listening to 2 FEUER audio cds relating to fundamentals and
med surgical nursing. Next week though, since my job will be very slow I will start reading the diabetes chapter. I rather read now on my own time, so when I do start in January, I will know the information very well. I rather spend time in the lab practicing skills, than reading.
You are not alone!!!
I can still have fun and read ahead with no pressure. I enjoy reading.

I finally finished all of my work for this semester, only to begin working on my stuff for next semester too! Plus, since I have preceptorship in the ER I was given a package of stuff I'm expected to know all about when I hit the floor. So I've been busy doing assignments for next semester as well as doing my own reading for preceptorship.......but I'm so close to being done, and I actually like reading about this stuff now!
