Can you walk into the NCLEX-RN exam with gum in your mouth?

Since I like chewing gum when I take exams, can I walk into the exam with gum already in my mouth? I know that nclex says no gum or candy but if I already have gum in my mouth could I go into the exam? thanks!

I wore my necklace, and two rings and I was fine. no watch though

No gum no candy, no bracelets, nothing. You put everything in a locker. I had my wedding ring on though (they saw that - obviously) and they didn't say anything. You go in the testing room with your ID card and the locker keys. I didn't have a problem with a sweater either (some say you're not allowed to), but they just made me turn my pockets inside out and I was good to go.
