Hello,

I am a LPN licesned in Saskatchewan. I am interested in working in Fort McMurray Alberta, I was just wondering what the process is to get licensed in Alberta?

thanks,:)

Why don't you ask the BON in Alberta, that way you will get accurate, up to date information. A message board is not a good substitute for your BON.

If you go to the Canadian Forum there is a sticky at the top with links for all the provincial colleges( the Canadian licensing bodies are called colleges, not boards). Contact the appropriate college and they will tell you how to proceed with your application for licensure in that province.

Fill up the forms, sent them a whack of cash.

You do know that Fort Mac has a housing shortage?

Hi Chaika,LPN,

Contact the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) at 1-780-484-8886 about registering as an Out of Province Applicant.

More information is also available on CLPNA's website, www.clpna.com, under "Applicants", "Licensed in Another Province or USA".
