Can one become a nurse if one has HPV?

I read "Thread" of the same question but for Genital Herpes, but i'm still not too sure.

I have HPV and i'm interested in becoming a nurse, i wanted to know if that would cause a problem when i get the physical?:banghead:.. :confused:...

When I was going for my BSN we did do assessments on one another -breast exams, yes but certainly not pelvic assessments. I would be shocked if a school did.

there'd be a WAY worse nursing shortage!

what weirded me out is that i was tested for HIV "accidentally" at my new job. the occ. health nurse going over results w/ me was like, oh, looks like they accidentally tested you for HIV, too, well you're negative. nice to know!

I'm not sure why they needed a chem panel on me...
