can a rn from mass work in RI

As elsewhere, I would imagine that a RI nursing license would be required. Contact the RI Board of Registered Nursing, to find out the specifics of endorsing your Mass license into RI.

No, MA is not part of the nurse licensure compact. You would need to apply specifically for an RI license.

You start by downloading the application on the RI board of nursing website.

RI is a compact state however MA isn't so you probably need to endorse your license http://www.health.ri.gov/hsr/professions/rn_app.php

Not a walk through state. I received a job offer there and had to do the entire process, but ended up not taking it in the end as something local came along.

you need to apply for ri lic .

Specializes in Home Care/Home Infusion.

RI is part of the compact. So, if you have a RI license, you are also licensed in 22 other states. But, only if you live in RI. If you live in MA and licensed in RI you are not considered part of the compact.

Hope this helps.
