Can LVN in California administer IM penicillin injection?

LVN peds nurse wondering if I can administer IM Penicillin injection on a peds patient?

Yes. And LVN's can also give some controlled meds, like Lorazepam.

Yes, they can virtually give any medication that’s available in PO, IM, SQ and ID Formulations. Just no IV meds in CA for LVNs.

Yes, it’s IM. If you have an appropriate order, why not?
