HI everyone
This is a really stupid question..but ive been praciticing taking Nclex questions with a hat on to block the outside stimuli with my earplugs on...does anybody know if its possible that i would be allowed to wear a hat during the test??
i have heard that ear plugs are provided at the testing center...since i really like mine, would i be able to take my own???

No, hats are not allowed in the test center. Neither are coats. In fact I wasn't allowed to wear my bracelets. They asked me to remove them and put them in my locker.
thank you for replying but wat about my own ear plugs????

Nope... they provide ear plugs, you cannot bring anything in with you. I will say tho, I asked for ear plugs in case I needed them, but it was very quiet in that room. EVERYONE was in deep concentration mode. The only distraction really was if people finished or took breaks, but that only lasted a minute or two.....
I found the ear plugs to be more distracting than the room..... I could hear myself breathe too much!
thanx for clearing out my question...SO nothing goes in with you!!

Pretty much nothing at all :). The good news is that they don't allow gum, either, so you won't have to hear anyone snapping and cracking their gum during the test.
I admit, that's a pet peeve of mine .
