i havent any knowledge about reciprocity....but, providing you have the class/clinic hours....yes you could sit in another state for the exam....go back to the lousianna bon site and find the numbers of hours required, and compare that to the hours required at your school...if your school meets or exceeds la. req. you should be good to go, if you are a little short on clinical hours you might approach your advisor about paying for more hours, good luck

I'm just wondering because I graduate next month from a BSN program in Florida, but I'm planning to relocate to Louisiana right after graduation. I've been to the Florida & Louisiana Board of Nursing websites, and I can't find any info about this. Should I just stay in Florida and take my NCLEX before relocating or can my school send my info to the Louisiana Board of Nursing so I can take the NCLEX there? Grrrr this is so confusing!
