Can I survive the stupidist mistake of all?

Oh my lord I cannot believe I did it. I just realized that I failed to put my name on the scantron of a major exam. I signed into the testing center and I put my name on the paper exam with the essay question (worth a measly 5 points out of a 100) but did not, DID NOT, put it on the scantron worth 95 points. I know I didn't. I can't believe I was so stupid. I have never done anything so stupid before. I sent an e-mail to my instructors this morning praying that by some miracle they check their box on a Sunday but the reality is I'm going to have to wait until Monday and will likely get a 0. I will not survive a 0, I barely had an A in the class, I mean barely... and this exam was worth almost 25% of our grade. Have you ever heard of anything so stupid, or more importantly anyone surviving anything so stupid? I can't believe I may have just flushed 5 years of hard work by doing something so, so dumb.

Don't lose all hope, did you have to sign in anywhere to TAKE the test, if so, then there's a record that you were there. And your name is signed on the essay question, too. And it's possible that you're the only one who didn't put their name on the the test, so maybe they can put two and two together.

With Marie on that one. If there is one test without a name and they have your email shouldn't be a problem to match the two.

Let us know what happens.

Where I failed to put my name on a test that the instructor didn't figure out whose it was. And, uh, when a school wants my college transcripts, I have to write something like 13 different schools...

Oh yeah, I totally overreacted. They scared the heck out of us the first week with days of lecture on the handbook and the importance of rules and conformity and what would happen to us if we didn't dot our I's and cross our T's. I was sure they were going to zero me out and send me packing, but they were cool about it and said I was the only moron without a name on their scantron and they were going to give me credit. One meltdown over... 20 more to go in the next 2 years??

Oh man, did you hear whether or not they got your name on your scantron. My heart dropped when I read this. And no, you're not alone. You're human!
