Can I mention this during an interview?

The organization that I am getting an interview at has low pt satisfaction for quietness at night. Can I bring this up during the interview (for that RIGHT interview question) and tell them what I plan to do in increasing pt satisfaction re: this?

DO NOT under any circumstances, no matter how well meaning, bring up a facility's short comings. Seriously. Think about it. That would be like meeting someone for the first time and quipping, "I could not help but notice the strain on the inseam of your jeans as they ripple over your cottage-cheese thighs." See how that might start out well and end miserably? Got it? Good.

DO, however, know about the facility's accomplishments. Why? Because I can almost promise you an interview question will be something along the lines of, "So, what makes you want to join our work family?" or "What brings you to our facility?"

Having a stellar answer of, "Knowing that this facility was one of the first in the region to offer beating heart bypass and endovascular valve replacements is important to me as I know that this facility offers cutting edge care options to patients. It would be a marvelous opportunity to become part of the continued growth of the team." Boo yeah.

Why? Everyone likes having their ego stroked. And besides, the fact you took the time to research the facility means you have weighed your employment options and are invested in process.

Interviews should always lean towards the positive and interviewees would be wise to focus on the highlights of what they bring the table.

haha if you want the job I wouldn't.... But what you could do if they ask a question like tell me about a time when you had a problem and what you did to fix it. You could say I worked on a unit that had problems with noise at night and then explain what you did to help... I mean you are kind of lying but what they are looking for anyway is how you can problem solve. Then if the person hiring you is smart and knows this is a problem on their unit they will be like oh she can bring something to the table let me hire her!
