Can i ever become a nurse?

12 years ago i knew i wanted to be a nurse and started the pre clinical phase but i screwed up and got a D in psychology at a cuny school (new york). Fast forward 12 years a husband and two children i wanted another shot at it but every school i look at says the D in psychology would prevent me from being a nurse. Is there any advice on what i can do or even perhaps an lpn program ,what schools are good?

Did you complete a degree? From my understanding anything obtained without a degree drops off after 5 years. In your case it's a good thing.

Exactly. That's why I'm personally having to take A&P again.

Even with a degree I still had to retake A&P. My school was firm on them needing to have been taken within 5 years of starting the nursing program.
