How many CUs is that?

People have completed anywhere from 30-60 units in one term so anything is possible. It depends on how you manage the work.

Sure, depends on you. I did all those plus four or five more and finished in under four months.

If you wish to have everything finished in one term, you will need to complete c228 (community health) as soon as possible. Mentors will not allow students to complete part two (community field experience) if part one has not yet been completed.

Also, OP is in California, so the community health practicum works very differently in that state due to certain legalities.

Also guys, for those of you who completed in 1 semester, what is the strategy here? I have read that the COS from WGU has enough work to keep you for a semester, so once I start, what should the focus be to get through the classes as soon as possible? I will become OCD with this and every free minute I will be working on it. As mentioned and asked, what was the strategy used to get through these courses as fast as possible and keep going on to the next?

OCD is the way to be. Skip the COS for any class in which you don't feel you need it, go right to the tasks or tests as quickly as you can. WGU is very self paced so most of it is up to you. Going through the COS busy work is NOT required - it's there as a resource for you. As for the community health classes, tell your mentor you want to take the theory class (c228) ASAP. The only roadblock could be a mentor issue, but generally they are on board after you finish your first 12 units with adding whatever you can handle after that. If not, time to request a mentor change. :)

I did about one class per week on average - occasionally two, but those were shorter/easier ones. Two open at a time after the first 12. Keep in mind again that your mentor will just give you 12 units at first - get through those quickly before asking for more.

You tell your mentor that you want the Community Health course to be one of the first ones you take. Your mentor acts as a gatekeeper who adds courses, grants permission to take final exams, accelerates coursework, etc.
