A friend of mine wants to complete her BSN through the university here because our hospital will pay for a lot of it. She's here on a TN visa. Anyone know if she needs to change her visa or anything to do it?
Yes, she can study in the US while on TN and no, she does not have to change her visa. Depending on the state where she lives, she may be charged out- of -state tuition, as she will still be classified as an international student. The school will ask for a copy of her TN and possibly pay out- of- state tuition, besides that everything the same as a US resident.
In which states would I qualify for in state tuition on a tn as a Canadian? Can we school full time as long as we maintain the tn? what about online schooling and tuition? Thank you so much in advance for your advice. And lastly, what is going on with green card retrogression for Canadians??

How can you school full time if working full time?
Everyone is affected by retrogression so Canadians will come under the heading rest of world the advantage is as long as you maintain TN requirements you can work whilst waiting in the US

Not sure if it's still the case but when I was attending Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan they had a "good neighbor" policy with residents of certain counties in Southwestern Ontario and was offering in-state tuition for students who live in those counties. I had a few Canadian classmates who crossed the border each time to attend classes.
