You would be best getting registered with the country you did your training in to start with.
You could work as an AIN (assistant in nursing) but it it is poor pay for bad work. I did it when I was waiting for my rego cause I had an issue with my name being spelled wrong on my passport (managed to get into the country thought :) ) plus if they know you are a RN waiting on your rego they WILL try and exploit you! Trust me I know!
Get you licence in you home country first.

I have finished my BSN course here in the philippines for over a year now. I have not passed the local board last july 2009. I took care of my diabetic grandmother instead.
Now that she is stable I would like to work in Australia.
Can I land a job in Australia with just my diploma? Or do I have to take additional studies to be able to have job there?
