Hi everyone---
Took the NCLEX-RN Tuesday morning... I stressed and stressed and then came across the so-called "Pearson Vue 'Trick'" for checking scores early... Can anyone verify that this trick still works/is valid within the past week or so? Has anyone in Massachusetts used it recently? Was it correct?
I want to believe that the "good" pop-up I got (1 hour ago) indicates a pass... but I can't figure out if this trick is still accurate...
Any info would be SUPER appreciated.
Hi All, I took my exam on July 01. Got the "good" pop-up when I checked later that day (around 6pm). I've read from several sources to wait 'till your status states "delivery successful". I found one post here on allnurses about a false positive, and false negatives seem to happen every now then. From what I've searched and my own experience and as well as my friends, the pvt seems to be accurate. I was issued a license my MBON on July 02, found out the morning of 03. My friends also had theirs a day or two later. My quick result wasn't even available 'till the evening of the 3rd. Of course by then, I already knew.
The PVT still works! I took the exam on July 3rd, waited a few hours to register for it again, but was stopped by the pop-up. I found out on Saturday, July 5th, that I passed. Although the pop-up calmed me down for a bit, I still broke down and payed for the quick results. I could have checked my state BON site to confirm my license, but the July 4th holiday slowed EVERYTHING down. I was losing my mind, so I payed.
Hey guys, new joinee! So, I took my NCLEX yesterday (July 6th) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It shut off somewhere in the 240's. I found some of the exam to be super easy, and also really tricky at the same time. Fellow students made me aware of the "trick" to try on pearson to receive an unoffical result. I've tried this and unfortunately I did not get the desired page, I got the credit card page. I'm just wondering how accurate this "trick" is, and is there any hope that I could have passed. During the Andersen review prep, it was mentioned that there are cases where it doesn't work for people. I'm really hoping this is the case. I would've much rather have gotten the good screen. Either way, I need to pass. Congrats to the rest of you!! :)
Hi 1MThomas, the pvt appears to be pretty accurate. I have heard of situations (albeit very few) of ppl getting to the cc pg, yet found out they have passed. Have you checked your state BON? I was issued my license even before pearsonvue had the quick results available. I'm in MD. Good luck, I hope your situation is a case of a false negative!

I took the NCLEX RN on July 3rd. Machine shut off at 75. I tried to re register and it wouldn't let me. I paid for quick results and it says "failed". Has anyone gotten a false result on the quick result?
