Can anyone verify Pearson Vue "trick" April/May 2013?

Hi everyone---

Took the NCLEX-RN Tuesday morning... I stressed and stressed and then came across the so-called "Pearson Vue 'Trick'" for checking scores early... Can anyone verify that this trick still works/is valid within the past week or so? Has anyone in Massachusetts used it recently? Was it correct?

I want to believe that the "good" pop-up I got (1 hour ago) indicates a pass... but I can't figure out if this trick is still accurate...

Any info would be SUPER appreciated.

Took NCLEX RN 7/5/13 at 1300 hours. Got the "Successful Delivery" and "Good Pop Up" at 2000. Got the PASS on 7/7/13.

The PVT still works! I took the exam on July 3rd waited a few hours to register for it again, but was stopped by the pop-up. I found out on Saturday, July 5th, that I passed. Although the pop-up calmed me down for a bit, I still broke down and payed for the quick results. I could have checked my state BON site to confirm my license, but the July 4th holiday slowed EVERYTHING down. I was losing my mind, so I payed.[/quote']

Congrats to you, Same boat here.. I took mine on July 2nd.. Got the good pop up, but I'm so scared to check the quick results.. I'm gonna wait .. It should be posted on the BON web tomorrow.. If the pvt works then I should be good!

I private messaged the user on here that said it was incorrect and got a response. I just wanted to share that so those of you that freaked out (like me) about what they said, can be somewhat relieved.

So you mean you had de good pop up but says fail on the quick result!???

I think I did it wrong. I did not completely go thru the steps of trying to register. I miss understand how to do the PVT.

Somebody please help!!

I took the NCLEX-RN on 06/25/13 and I did the PVT and got the good pop up after my exam and did it again a few days ago and I still got the good pop up but my name still does not show up on the CA BON website and it's 07/09/13 and it is still not up!! Granted it was last updated on the 7th but that's still like 8 business days.. and I've read some posts where ppl had their name up as soon as 48 hrs.. this is Seriously killing me is it possible that I failed??? why else would it take so long for my name to appear?? Am I going to be the first one that the PVT doesn't work for?? Uuggh this is utter torture. Does anybody know how I can verify officially if I passed or not w/out having to wait for the results via mail?? Any help or words of comfort will be greatly appreciated!!

PS I've read like a gazillion of these threads and I haven't found one person post that the PVT didn't work for them...

Took NCLEX 7/9 early AM. Test was ridiculously difficult. Had to laugh a little to keep myself sane. Nonetheless, question 75 rolls along and then shuts off. Did the trick and got the "good pop up". Will post again if I pass or fails. Crossing my fingers!!

Called my BON. They are behind schedule and told me a minimum of 1 week to get results. Explained that summer months are very busy. Just keep checking and good luck people

I just took the NCLEX on 07/12. I can't remember the exact number of questions I got, but it was over a 100. I was concerned because most people test shut down after 75 questions, when I went beyond that I almost lost it right there in the testing center. I felt uneasy when I left the testing center. A little over 3 hours later, I did the Pearson Vue trick and received the “pop up”. That still did not make me feel better. However, today I did the quick results and found out that I had PASSED the NCLEX. So I am a firm believer that the Pearson Vue trick does work!!!

Hi Guys I live in Florida and to reassure you all I took my NCLEX yesterday at 8am.. went home and an hour later I checked and got the "good pop up" even though that made me feel a little better I was still a nervous wreck! Still no results today but I checked the DON here and there I was! THIS TRICK STILL HOLDS TRUE! everyone that I know that did the trick and received the good pop up passed. By the way for I had to do 235 questions which sent me into a panic because I figured I wasn't passing!! But its possible and you guys can do it!! BREATHE and don't worry! The trick works and don't panic and get anxiety if you get more than 75 questions.. easier said than done I know but people do pass with the max amount of questions just like some people fail only doing 75! GOOD LUCK!
