Hi there!
I am a foreign nurse aspiring to go to America. Can anyone tell me of any information about Cambridge Healthcare? It's base is in MD. I would like to know if it's a good agency. I believe they're somewhere in Baltimore.
Thanks a lot.

Hello! how's your life there as a family? when do your wife started to work? or your wife and you still at the CHC's condo? how do they treat you ? your needs? how's their transition program? Did your wife sign another contract? any revisions from the contract?
Still no clear answer about the deployment date....the last message Brian told me was that crisis of US hinders the deployment.
hope to receive reply from you. God bless
Hi to all,There is a problem with finding deployment for the 5.
As of this time I recommend for those who still have options to go and explore those options.
Hi Sgt MAck. I also signed up with CHC. got my visa, but still waiting for deployment. It's been months and i haven't received any updates from them, What do you mean "explore other options". Do you mean to say, we have less chances of being deployed? It's hard not to receive any information from CHC. i mean gud news or bad news, bring it on, so at least I know the real situation and if I really should scout for another agency.ope to hear fr u.

Hi SgtMack, can you please enlighten us more with this statement? i, too, am awaiting deployment by CHC.. it's been 5 months of waiting since i got my h1b visa.. am getting worried because i already resigned from my job.. THANKS.
Sorry for not replying sooner. It's been busy...
4 out of the 5 nurses has been passed on to another agency (medpro) but still waiting for a final deployment contract in Florida... (apparently this is a common route used by CHC)
I do not know other people's chances of still being deployed but i think for people with 3-year visas you still have until Sep30 to wait. I don't know for those with 1-year visas though...
The recession is still making it tough but the new healthcare reform act gives some hope...
The only recommendation I can give is for you to continue working until you get a ticket, period.
Good luck to all of us!
hi sgtmack!
Please do the honor of updating us here. Are those nurses all settled at Florida? including your wife? How's CHC hANdling this situation? If the 4 nurses were deployed, meaning a new batch will be next soon?
The main problem for us here, is that CHC do not update us on the current status, at least provide us some assurance that we're waiting on something.

Hello again. does anyone know if there have been cases of expired visas? mine has only 1 yr validity. what happens if my visa expires? does it mean i'm free of the contract, i can go scout for other agencies and don't have to pay for any expenses of CHC since they failed to deploy me???
to wicked princess...when your visa was issued?,,,,i think you must act fast to determine your actions...mine, was 3 years but almost 6 mos were lost from my visa validity...CHC said they have 1 year allowance to deploy me....if you have 1 year then, you must be deployed ASAP...if not, maybe you can consult a lawyer to help you out in your status....if your not deployed, then maybe it's a breached of contract (i guess)...have you tried calling Ms.Teresa or Mr. Brian?

i communicate with them thru email. Sir brian said they'll try to deploy me within my visa terms but i have only 6 months left in my visa validity. Not sure what's gonna happen with that short visa validity. anyways,do uyou know what;s the basis for deployment--i mean, who/what determines who gets deployed first and next and last??? i know it doesn't depend on who gets their visa first or whose visa's about to expire... so it must be who gets chosen by the facility...is that right?

Thanks for this update. What reason did CHC give you why the 5 nurses are still not deployed? i thought that when we get there, we already have hospital to work for. i have emailed them and left msgs in their voice mail box but have not received any reply-- i just want to know how long should we wait or should we scout for other agencies that could help us coz H1B applications will be due this april again.
