Cambridge Healthcare

Hi there!

I am a foreign nurse aspiring to go to America. Can anyone tell me of any information about Cambridge Healthcare? It's base is in MD. I would like to know if it's a good agency. I believe they're somewhere in Baltimore.

Thanks a lot.

Hi kayekass!

I'm very happy for you... Just would like to ask if you're from the philippines too? When did you have your embassy interview or when was your visa approved?

How many months did you wait for your ticket?

Thanks...

Hi Geordix, my wife is in the same boat as you. she's waiting for her ticket from CHC. Her H1B got approved April 24. She already has her visa as well. Do you have your visa? did you go thru Abba? Last update we got from Teresa and Mike is that they are still finalizing the dates and will be informing us when its ready. What is your last update?

Hi! I am also awaiting deployment from CHC/Abba. I resigned from work since the approval of visa and busy preparing for departure but up to now am still here. CHC advised me to go back to work, volunteer will do. Did they do the same to you guys? Can I have your email add. I guess we will be together soon

Hi,

I have just found out about Cambridge Health care. I am an ER nurse here in the Philippines and have been looking for an employer or agency to sponsor me for H1B visa. How are you guys doing with your applications in cambridge? by now you all are probably in maryland already. Do you think Cambridge is still deploying Pinoy RNs to the US with the H1B visa? Thank you very much

Hi there,

I am the candidate of CHC too. My documents has been sent to the attorney since Aug. They said they have not filed my petition yet because there is a high rate of denials currently at the USCIS processing centers, and they do not want to file when most cases are being denied due to specialty occupation. Does anybody like my situation now?:sniff:

My wife and I just recently landed in Maryland on an H1B and H4 respectively though Cambridge.

For those have been approved and still waiting deployment, I suggest to just stick it out. I know there are still a lot of you waiting in the Philippines. If you can keep yourself employed and current I think it would be better.

For those who still want to apply, cambridge does seem to be slowing down in filing petitions due to to high failure rates of their candidates. So I guess it depends on your qualifications and chances of approval.

Good luck to you all!

hello!

anjelace/antonia_lois: Are you still in the Phils? Coz me, still here. I signed to CHC thru FOCUS.... my H1b was approved aug2009, then sept for consular interview and successfully passed it...had the medical exams and other documents prepared....all set just waiting for the ticket...knowing that will be deployed by Oct as what stated in the docu...but nonetheless, they said just wait for my deployment date to be set...it's feb2010 already but still here, their reply is always to wait for the finalization of deployment date!...huhuhu...for how long?????? they said that deployment date can be set within the 1 year visa term...if you have fb account pls add me so we could exchange updates ([email protected])..thanks

Hi to those watching this thread, sorry for not posting anything recently...

Sad to say but the first batch of H1B 2010 nurses (should have been Oct 2009) are still waiting to be deployed.

There are 5 of them and they have been here in MD since mid January.

2 SLPs from India and 3 new PTs from the Philippines arrived stateside last week though... so life goes on...
