Calling for CPNE Cancellation

Published

I called this morning to the CPNE scheduling center. I just knew I was going to be the "lucky" student to call for the first time for a cancellation date and get a test date. I know there is a 5 to 8 month wait. Well, the luck of the Irish was not on my side. Has anyone from the February FCCA class got a test date yet?

Are you sure you're Irish? (Couldn't resist!) Sorry to hear you have to wait. Keep trying.

I turned in application in August and just tested this weekend

7 months! WOW! Congratulations to you!

Does a quarter Irish count? I am 100% American mutt. My maternal's parents are 100% Russian and 100% German. On my paternal's side they were 100% Cherokee and 100% Irish.

I think my daughter is Irish from her father's side. Someone in his family did a lot of work to trace the family tree, but they reached a dead end somewhere. It seems lots of people changed their lives totally when they got to America, making it difficult to find out where they originated. I think on that side there was probably also Cherokee; they settled in that part of the country, and you could look at pictures and see the physical characteristics. Genealogy is a fun pastime.

Genealogy is fun. :) Norwegian, Irish/Scottish on my mom's side. Dad's side: Spanish Jews. Lol.

I've been calling every day for the past 4 weeks with no luck either. People make it sound like they get cancellation dates within a few days! Good luck :)

It's luck of the draw, the first morning I called I was told no..sent a message through message center within an hour of the same day, by noon I had a date. Took me by surprise but I ran with it and quickly accepted.
