Just curious, does anybody else wake up to the sounds of phantom call bells in the night on your day off. Or the sounds of patients bbeking nonsense. Has my cheese sllid off its cracker

I just spit coffee all over my keyboard reading that.
Yes, I hear call bells at any time of day when I am not working. It usually means it's time for vacation....
Haha I don't think I've done call lights, but vent alarms and bipap alarms, yes. It drove me crazy. FOR THE LAST TIME PUT YOUR BIPAP BACK ON WHEN YOU'RE DONE TAKING A DRINK! hehe
I spent all of one day (night shifter) in my dreams rushing from room to room fixing malfunctioning IV pumps that kept alarming. Woke up to discover road work out front. The "backup" beep on the trucks was the same tone as our IV pumps!
My 3yr old crawled in my bed in the middle of the night. In my dreams, I was actually asking the CNA to remove the patient from my bed and return her to her room!! LOL
I also check blood sugars and give insulin in my dreams!
