California State University, Sacramento (Sac State) BSN Program - Spring 2026

Published

Hello everyone! I tried looking for a thread on the Spring 2026 application cycle and couldn't find one so I decided to make one. Feel free to share your experience and share questions about the Sac State traditional nursing program for Spring 2026.

Specializes in Float Pool.

Hey got waitlisted at 33, I thought I had no repeats but turns out I did so I had it at 70 pts rather than 72. Would be a miracle if I make it in honestly LOL

Congrats!! You're definitely getting in! May I ask what your points were?

Hi! I had 71 points in total:

  • Adjusted Nursing GPA = 40 pts
  • TEAS Score (92%) = 22 pts
  • Optional Criteria (+100 volunteer hours, local high school & community college) = 9 pts
  • No Repeats = 2 pts

I really hope I get in as well. Seeing the previous alternate list numbers makes me hopeful, so thank you for the optimism 🙂

Congratulations to all those admitted and good luck to those wait listed! I am alternate#7 and praying they pull a lot of alternates from the wait list this cycle.

Hiii everyone I hope today went well for you!
im alternate #15 so praying the trends continue for letting us in!

That is awesome to hear, last semester stats show they got up to the 28th alternate and the prior years above that 20+ mark, so it is looking good for you 😊

@morgan ford @Astralya21 looking like from their previous application stats from prior years , anyone under that 30 mark looking like a good chance .  Do you guys attend Sac State currently or are transfer students?

I am a transfer from Los Rios and admitted to this program(first time applicant) as well as the ARC program(2nd attempt).  Hoping to see more fellow Nursing students joining the program post in the forums.

If anyone ends up making a discord or special group, let me know 😄

I go to sac state currently, congrats on getting in!!
I'm hopeful that they will at least let in 20 this semester but of course I would rather know sooner than later, hopefully people decline quickly so we can hear back faster

@morgan ford By the way, how is sac state currently? I have not been there since 2016.  Does the Well get packed or is it pretty spacious ? 🤣

I haven't really been to the well since last fall but it was so crowded I never went back 😂but honestly campus seems more busy overall even in the last year, but I don't have too many complaints

Oh man, yea let alone just making onto any of the main entrances into the main campus bring flashbacks for those 9am classes 😂 so glad we will have courses at Folsom blvd.  Definitely no Well for me if its that packed conpared to when I was going there.

Hi guys, those that already got accepted. By when do you need to take your drug test and have immunizations ready? Thanks in advance
