Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to Sacramento State's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!
You should get in with 73. I was waitlisted with 71 points last semester, but now I have 73. They started taking people from the waitlist who had 71 points. I was just further down the list because I omitted a class from 2011.
It will all depend on the pool of applicants, but judging by past stats, we should be fine.

You'll get a piece of mail from College Board confirming they sent it to Sac State, but Sac State does not proactively communicate with you. I did contact the admissions office to have them confirm they had it on file, and that took maybe another 3-4 days to get a response from them. If you sent it on Sept 3rd, I'd guess you'll be getting the confirmation mail from College Board any day now!
I emailed them 7 days ago and they still haven't emailed be back! I got my copy on September 30th, right in the nick of time, but I'm worried they didn't and will withdraw my application 😞 cursed collegeboard!

I think you'll be fine then, just keep that paper from CollegeBoard! I went to an information session and [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] said if they are missing a document they will email you that you are marked for disqualification, but if you can provide evidence the school received the document in time, she'll accept it. So in your case, either Sac State will process it in time and you'll have no issue, or she'll reach out to you and you can provide the letter as confirmation the transcript was received before Oct 1. She sounded like she was really reasonable about it / it happened semi-often in the past

I'm hoping to get into the 2025 Spring cohort. Could any previous and/or current student shed a light on how heavy the schedule is? Would anyone be able to work part-time while completing first nursing year? Thank you in advance!
They do not recommend working sadly. It's usually 4-5 days of commitment.
